Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and guide the team in maintaining software quality and consistent delivery practices.
Define, design, develop, maintain, and test MCA platform software, including BSPs, platform services, and middleware applications.
Develop and execute hardware/software, software/software, unit, integration, and validation test plans.
Derive platform software requirements and interfaces from system requirements and allocate them to software components.
Troubleshoot platform software failures and defects across test environments and lead root-cause analysis.
Address configurability, performance, cybersecurity, and quality requirements for MCA platform software.
Review system-level requirements, present technical decisions and results, document technical data, and communicate significant issues and risks.
Prepare invention disclosures and collaborate with MCA teams and internal and external customers.

Bachelor of Science in software engineering, computer science, or another engineering discipline.
Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience.
Experience developing, modifying, and debugging device drivers, bootloaders, or board support packages.
Experience with Linux operating systems on embedded systems and knowledge of Linux kernel internals.
Experience with hardware/software integration, Docker, C or C++, Bash, and Python.
Ability and willingness to travel as required.
