Base Salary
$131k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead Pega development of AI capabilities including predictive intent recognition, intelligent knowledge surfacing, workflow suggestions, case summarization, CSR coaching analytics, and AI dashboards.
- Design and develop Pega RPA bots to replace legacy mainframe screen-scraping integrations.
- Architect and build Pega workflows, case types, business rules, data objects, user interfaces, and integrations.
- Implement AI-enabled guided workflows, knowledge recommendations, next-best-action capabilities, sentiment analysis, and interaction summarization.
- Develop API-first integrations between Pega and CMS systems of record.
- Translate AI roadmap priorities into technical designs, user stories, and working software.
- Apply configuration-first, low-code/no-code development practices and document customizations.
- Ensure development is unit tested, security scanned, validated, and compliant with applicable accessibility, security, and governance requirements.
- Mentor Pega developers and provide technical guidance on AI, RPA, and platform best practices.
- Troubleshoot defects, support production and hypercare activities, tune performance, and document technical designs and RPA logic.
- Collaborate with architects, product leadership, Agile delivery teams, CMS leadership, and Leidos management on planning, delivery, risks, and dependencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant software development experience, including significant Pega Platform development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect certification or higher.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled features such as predictive analytics, NLP, decisioning, or next-best-action within Pega.
- Ability to obtain Public Trust.
- Preferred qualifications include Pega Certified Lead System Architect certification, Pega GenAI or Pega Knowledge Buddy experience, LLM integration, case management, workflow automation, API-first and event-driven architecture, Pega RPA, Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery, and CMS or federal health and human services modernization experience.
