Responsibilities
- Develop consultative relationships with fundamental analysts and portfolio managers and identify opportunities where AI can add investment value.
- Define product roadmaps, assess feasibility, and establish accountability with investment stakeholders.
- Design and deliver agentic architectures integrating LLMs, quantitative models, enterprise data pipelines, and real-time reasoning systems.
- Deploy AI agents that retrieve relevant knowledge and generate research-grade outputs for investors.
- Implement guardrails, compliance checks, and observability frameworks for reliable production operation.
- Apply prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, multi-agent coordination, and workflow orchestration.
- Translate investment problems into structured AI workflows and present research and recommendations to investment teams.
- Lead workflow transformations and collaborate across Investment, Data Science, and Technology teams.
- Prototype autonomous and self-improving investment systems and institutionalize responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Expert-level proficiency in R or Python and experience applying programming to agentic AI systems.
- Exceptional prompt-engineering skills and ability to convert complex workflows into logical, step-by-step tasks.
- Deep expertise in data modeling, processing, integration, and analytics, with proficiency in enterprise data platforms.
- At least 5 years of experience with financial modeling, portfolio construction, trading, or investment management workflows.
- Strong innovation, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel to support deployments across the global organization.
- Preferred qualifications include an M.S. or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline, leadership experience, and at least 3 years developing agentic AI systems.
- Preferred experience includes advanced retrieval-augmented generation, multi-agent systems, relevant Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS certifications, and CFA charterholder or active-candidate status.
