Base Salary

$165k - $239k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain resilient, secure, efficient cloud-hosted platforms that meet SLAs and support software releases and maintenance updates.
  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise servers, network infrastructure, and cloud architectures using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Build, monitor, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure through automation in production and non-production environments.
  • Configure and tune cloud tools while managing cloud cost, security, and compliance.
  • Create environment-specific alerts and dashboards using analytics and monitoring tools.
  • Monitor and resolve site stability and performance issues, including incident management and post-mortem analysis.
  • Collaborate with distributed Cloud and Engineering teams and stakeholders on troubleshooting, automation, and architectural decisions.
  • Maintain systems, process, and procedure documentation for knowledge sharing and compliance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • 5+ years of experience developing software products in a cloud computing environment such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • 5+ years of experience automating product development using scripting or programming languages.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable computing infrastructure for data solutions and cloud architectures.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, change governance, root cause analysis, operational risk, system and networking architecture, DevOps, and cloud operations.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud security architecture and design across major cloud platforms.
  • Preferred: experience with Azure and/or AWS, Jira, Confluence, Slack, GCP monitoring and logging tools, GCP managed databases, and Kubernetes as a Service solutions.
  • Applicable education or certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience are required.
  • Successful candidates must satisfy Boeing’s Conflict of Interest assessment process and meet U.S. export-control requirements as a U.S. Person.
