Responsibilities

  • Develop components, small features, tools, enhancements, and break/fix implementations for engineering programs and projects.
  • Analyze technical requirements and recommend practical engineering solutions within the assigned area.
  • Configure, integrate, code, test, debug, document, and maintain applications and system components.
  • Support testing cycles, incident management, outage analysis, impact assessment, and incident resolution communications.
  • Participate in quality management reviews, design and prototype reviews, and validation of requirements work products.
  • Apply secure coding practices, identify technical risks and lessons learned, and implement appropriate improvements.
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done and ready.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant technology practices, tools, procedures, emerging trends, and business requirements.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate.
  • Strong academic background, such as computer science or engineering.
  • Basic working knowledge of relevant engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Foundational knowledge of applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, and organizational standards.
  • Ability to perform low- to moderately complex technical tasks under general supervision.
  • Ability to adapt, integrate, code, test, and debug programs and solve routine problems using established procedures.

  • Annual base salary of CAD $59,500-$84,000.
