Base Salary
$82k - $107k/yr
Responsibilities
- Document assigned business requirements and participate in software application design discussions.
- Code and integrate new features and updates into existing applications using Java and related technologies.
- Conduct code reviews, modify the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
- Implement test strategies, analyze results, coordinate bug fixes, and support software quality.
- Develop user training programs, technical documentation, and software support frameworks.
- Resolve production issues, recommend preventive strategies, and maintain records of code, testing, and support activities.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Core Java and Java 8 or later.
- Experience with the Spring Boot framework, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Experience with microservices architecture, SQL and NoSQL databases, AWS services, and Apache Kafka or messaging systems.
- Ability to handle end-to-end SDLC activities, translate requirements into development tasks, and perform software integration.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or qualifying progressive experience in lieu of education.
- Ability to relocate and/or travel to the work or project location if required.
- Authorization to work for any U.S. employer without employer-based visa sponsorship.
