Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Perform API testing and test automation to identify defects and broader quality risks.
- Set up, configure, and maintain Jenkins jobs for automated test execution, reporting, and CI/CD integration.
- Use Jira and Xray to support test planning, execution, and traceability.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Lead software quality and delivery improvement efforts and implement team best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement in development and testing processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of overall experience is required.
- At least 5 years of Playwright experience is required.
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar QA or Test Automation Engineer role is stated.
- At least 5 years of experience working in Agile delivery environments is required.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript for automated test frameworks and scripts is required.
- Proficiency in Selenium is required.
- Experience with API testing, test automation, and AI-assisted testing capabilities is required or expected.
- Strong experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Git or Bitbucket, Jira, and Xray is expected.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills are required.
- Business-level written and spoken English and 15 years of full-time education are required.
