Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology initiatives with broad or companywide impact.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, deploy, and support large-scale software solutions.
- Develop enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and .NET 6+.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and full-stack web applications.
- Build user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React.
- Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, queries, indexes, and performance.
- Develop and support SSIS packages, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
- Establish engineering standards and companywide best practices.
- Lead projects and teams, mentor peers, and collaborate with technical experts and external industry groups.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support application environments spanning development, QA, UAT, and production.
- Apply secure coding practices and remediate application vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, or .NET 6+.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technology stacks, object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
- Extensive Microsoft SQL Server experience, including database design, stored procedures, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Experience with SSIS, ETL processes, data integration, ORM frameworks, SOAP, and REST web services.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle and with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Harness, Azure DevOps, UDeploy, Liquibase, or SonarQube.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
- Knowledge of application security, vulnerability remediation, and secure coding practices.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
