Responsibilities
- Develop new features and maintain existing features in the Freetrade iOS app.
- Ensure high application performance, quality, security, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with backend, design, product, and QA teams to define, design, and ship features.
- Write tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain application robustness.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve code quality, organization, automation, and releases.
- Participate in a customer support rota to understand and address customer issues.
- Help guide priorities for platform issues, technical debt, patterns, architecture, and developer experience.
Requirements
- Typically 3–5 years of experience developing production-grade mobile applications.
- Strong problem-solving ability and passion for improving technical skills and knowledge.
- Good understanding of mobile architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or VIPER.
- Experience with iOS development tools including Swift, SwiftUI, and Xcode.
- Experience with reactive libraries such as Combine or RxSwift.
- Good understanding of Human Interface Guidelines.
- Working understanding of version control tools such as Git.
- Appreciation of continuous integration and build tools such as CircleCI.
