Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve Alan’s shared data platform and core data infrastructure.
- Develop and operate production data pipelines using orchestration, cloud data warehouses, and infrastructure as code.
- Design systems, tools, and libraries used by engineers, scientists, and analysts.
- Improve the developer experience for building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Enable reliable and secure access to the data warehouse for Alan employees and AI agents.
- Strengthen security, data quality, governance, and standardized data practices across data assets.
- Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Alan to understand needs and build trusted data solutions.
- Evolve data infrastructure to support international expansion and growing product breadth.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience demonstrating impact in data-related positions.
- Experience building and operating production data infrastructure, including orchestration, cloud data warehouses, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience designing systems, tools, or libraries used by engineers, scientists, or analysts.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Interest in using AI thoughtfully to increase impact.
- Strong listening, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English; French is not required.
