Base Salary
$75k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems owned by the User Systems team.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in a cross-functional team.
- Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in design and code reviews and write and maintain tests.
- Document systems for long-term maintainability.
- Serve as a first responder in the team’s software on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or relevant work experience.
- Experience with at least one major programming language, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, Java, Go, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, passion for software development, continuous learning, and a growth mindset.
