Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements and maintain traceability among requirements, designs, and test cases.
- Create and configure code for application components and select appropriate languages, frameworks, standards, and development tools.
- Develop Java backend services, POJOs, service classes, REST APIs, and microservices-based applications.
- Build automation scripts, implement telemetry features, and apply security policy requirements during development.
- Design, execute, and maintain automated and other test cases to identify defects and verify software quality.
- Track and troubleshoot defects, performance bottlenecks, availability issues, and application logs.
- Perform application maintenance, re-engineering, monitoring, metrics analysis, and change-request evaluation.
- Support project milestone and timeline adherence and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field; or a bachelor's degree or equivalent in one of these fields plus two years of software engineering or related experience.
- Experience developing backend services with Java, POJOs, service classes, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience developing applications with Spring Boot and using Jenkins and GitHub for application builds and deployments.
- Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, Git, Maven, Gradle, Lombok, IntelliJ IDEA, and Eclipse.
- Experience designing automated test cases with JUnit 5 and Mockito.
- Experience managing project workflows with Jira and maintaining technical documentation in Confluence.
