Responsibilities
- Create business requirement documents covering functional and non-functional requirements from client workshops and interviews.
- Review, propose, and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable solution architectures.
- Assess and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms for implementation.
- Design and review integration strategies across different technologies and systems.
- Resolve complex technical challenges during build, deployment, and support phases.
- Provide specialized architectural guidance to development teams and collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Identify system risks, monitor performance, and recommend optimization initiatives.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base and contribute architectural insights to proposals and RFPs.
- Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge sharing and reusable integration frameworks.
Requirements
- Experience with enterprise integration and middleware, specifically Boomi AtomSphere.
- Experience architecting complex enterprise-scale application integration solutions using real-time, batch, event-driven, and API-led patterns.
- Hands-on B2B/EDI integration experience, including trading partner management, AS2/SFTP/VAN connectivity, X12/EDIFACT standards, and document mapping.
- Knowledge of Boomi Connectors, Process Canvas, Maps, Profiles, API Management, Atom/Molecule/Cloud architecture, and environment management.
- Experience leading integration architecture for ERP and CRM platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, and NetSuite.
- Understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSD, and WSDL.
- Understanding of integration security, including OAuth 2.0, SSL/TLS, PGP encryption, and certificate management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence technical strategy at leadership level.
- Preferred experience migrating integrations from MuleSoft to Boomi and with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, flows, APIs, and DataWeave.
- Preferred Boomi Professional Developer or Architect certification and experience with Boomi API Management/API Gateway, MDM, Flow, or Event Streams.
- Experience in regulated industries and familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required; three years of progressive specialty experience may substitute for each year of education.
