Base Salary
$90k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop Java applications and APIs and implement BPM solutions.
- Design and develop web user interfaces and APIs using Java, JavaScript, Spring, and Angular technologies.
- Write application code, unit tests, and integration tests using JUnit, Spock, Jasmine, and Karma.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, UX design teams, and downstream systems.
- Build cloud-native applications with Docker and deploy them to OpenShift and AWS EKS.
- Support production releases, monitoring, and timely issue triage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of IT work experience across frontend and backend frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, plus proven BPM expertise.
- Experience with Angular or React.js and JavaScript tools including Node.js, Webpack, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, and JSLint.
- Experience writing extensive automated unit tests and creating end-to-end test suites with Protractor or a well-reasoned alternative.
- Knowledge of Java EE and Spring technologies including Core, Security, and MVC.
- Experience with build automation using Ant, Maven, or Gradle.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or Kafka is preferred.
- Experience with cloud and container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, and EKS.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ElectricFlow is preferred.
- Good database query skills.
- Preferred experience with PCF, GCP, Python, Devin, Copilot, Claude, Unix shell scripting, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, RDS, or DynamoDB.
