Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java microservices using Spring technologies for asset and wealth management applications.
- Implement Spring Boot services and integrations for transaction processing and portfolio data consolidation.
- Configure and manage Docker-based environments across development, testing, and production.
- Develop AngularJS dashboards, trade workflows, and reporting interfaces.
- Build Kafka-driven event integrations for streaming, pricing updates, and analytics.
- Use Spring Integration, Spring MVC, and Spring Core to implement workflows and maintainable application components.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Optimize performance through profiling, tuning, caching, and efficient data access.
- Apply authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and operational runbooks.
- Support production releases and troubleshoot issues in containerized environments.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of hands-on Java development experience with strong Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and related framework expertise.
- Experience building cloud-ready microservices using Spring Cloud patterns, including configuration, service discovery, and resiliency.
- Strong hands-on Docker experience, including containerization and optimization.
- Strong Kafka experience with topic design, consumer groups, serialization, and monitoring.
- Experience developing AngularJS single-page applications with modular architecture and secure API integrations.
- Deep asset and wealth management domain knowledge, including portfolios, instruments, trade lifecycle, settlements, and reporting.
- Experience with Spring Integration or similar integration tools across financial systems.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Awareness of financial technology trends, cloud-native development, and secure coding practices.
