Base Salary

$97k - $162k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, maintain, and debug C and C++ software supporting AMOSS and associated C4I systems.
  • Develop and maintain radar tracking, correlator, sensor fusion, adaptive Kalman filtering, and plot-to-track assignment algorithms.
  • Integrate air, maritime, and ground-based sensors and data feeds, including radar plots, flight plans, GPS tracking, ADS-B, and tactical data links.
  • Enhance real-time operational displays, data visualization components, and dedicated and web-based AMOSS interfaces.
  • Provide second-tier software maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, performance optimization, upgrades, refreshes, and deployments.
  • Support software installation, integration, testing, and validation in operational and test environments.
  • Maintain compliance with DHS, CBP, and AMOC configuration management and security requirements.
  • Support data mining, analytics, predictive threat modeling, and collaboration on AI/ML-enabled threat detection systems.
  • Produce technical documentation including software version descriptions, installation plans, system acceptance test plans, and source code documentation.
  • Participate in technical interchange meetings, program management reviews, and operational briefings.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and a Secret Clearance are required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 8–10+ years of related work experience and demonstrated experience developing real-time, mission-critical systems are required.
  • Advanced proficiency in C/C++ and experience with Linux-based development and deployment environments are required.
  • Experience with sensor data processing, tracking systems, complex data correlation, debugging, and maintaining large legacy codebases is required.
  • Strong understanding of real-time systems, multithreaded programming, networked data inputs, and high-availability systems is required.
  • Familiarity with radar or surveillance systems, sensor fusion and tracking algorithms, and GIS or mapping/display technologies is preferred.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Perforce or Git is required.
