Base Salary
$149k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead migration of AI/ML platform services to AWS GovCloud while meeting compliance, security, and performance standards.
- Design and implement cloud-native ML infrastructure using SageMaker, ECS, EKS, and Lambda.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize deployed models and ML pipelines in GovCloud environments.
- Build secure cross-border data pipelines aligned with FedRAMP requirements.
- Architect scalable solutions for large-scale data processing and design APIs for front-end applications.
- Collaborate with product and design teams on customer experience features.
- Automate manual processes, improve data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for scalability.
- Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation supporting internal platforms and customer-facing production systems.
Requirements
- US citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain access to AWS GovCloud secure environments are required.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of production software development experience using Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience deploying and operating services on Kubernetes, including in regulated environments.
- Experience with distributed systems including Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
- Experience with relational SQL and Postgres.
- Experience with code quality best practices and testing architectures on large codebases.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS, AWS GovCloud, or FedRAMP experience; AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty or Solutions Architect certification; ML model serving platforms; Airflow or Kubeflow; Django or Spring; and NoSQL databases such as ElasticSearch.
Benefits
- Annual base salary range of $148,500–$221,000.
