Responsibilities
- Perform scenario-based manual testing to identify defects and verify software quality.
- Design comprehensive test scenarios and cases using techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, Decision Table Testing, State Transition Testing, Error Guessing, and Exploratory Testing.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and automated tests using Playwright with Python where applicable.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory, end-to-end, verification, and validation testing.
- Analyze test results, report defects, troubleshoot issues with developers, and verify fixes.
- Perform mobile device testing across applicable devices, operating systems, screen sizes, and configurations.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and process improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-9 years of experience in software testing, verification, and validation.
- Strong proficiency in scenario-based manual testing methodologies and test design techniques.
- Experience deriving test scenarios from requirements, business workflows, and user behavior.
- Experience with functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Playwright automation using Python and experience with Python and pytest are advantageous.
- Mobile device testing experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 medical device development standards.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and deadline-management abilities.
