Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end technical solutions based on customer specifications and business needs.
  • Scope, define, design, develop, test, maintain, and support solution components.
  • Create short- and long-term profitable business strategies and manage solution roadmaps and strategy execution.
  • Translate customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals.
  • Transfer knowledge, promote reuse, perform data loading and batch-job scheduling and monitoring, and analyze incidents for corrective and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of programming experience in large-scale production systems using languages such as Python, PySpark, and Airflow.
  • Excellent Python and data-analysis package knowledge, including scikit-learn, SciPy, NumPy, pandas, and Matplotlib.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL databases and ability to write advanced, performant SQL queries.
  • Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and technologies including MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Apache Spark.
  • Experience with container ecosystems such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience designing scalable data pipelines with open-source tools such as Apache Airflow and Apache NiFi.
  • Experience with one or more of Microsoft Azure, GCP, or AWS and continuous integration and continuous training in these platforms.
  • At least 4 years of experience architecting, deploying, and operating ML/DL models in production across cloud and edge environments.
  • Desirable: machine-learning and deep-learning toolkit experience and 3+ years of experience with modern AI/ML model-governance practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
