Base Salary
$170k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural evolution and frontend execution of core Search features across the React, TypeScript, and Node web stack.
- Partner with product, design, and backend engineering to translate research and design mocks into performant user experiences.
- Build map-based data visualizations and geospatial interfaces for high-density location data.
- Champion frontend engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor peers.
- Monitor and optimize client-side performance, state management, and data retrieval for high-traffic web applications.
- Participate in customer calls and contribute to team retrospectives.
Requirements
- Mastery of modern frontend web technologies, application design patterns, and user interface development using React and TypeScript.
- Experience building map-based data visualizations with technologies such as Mapbox or the Google Maps API.
- Working knowledge of Node.js web services and API concepts including REST, GraphQL, or gRPC.
- Understanding of backend microservice interaction patterns and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills and a track record of continuous learning.
- Familiarity with AWS managed services or frontend performance optimization for high-traffic applications is preferred.
