Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across enterprise backend systems, including architecture, design, and implementation using Java Spring and Node.js.
- Define and evaluate technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, cloud fundamentals, and business objectives.
- Design scalable system and API architectures for distributed systems and document technical trade-offs and integration patterns.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle and promote secure, high-quality, compliant solutions.
- Establish engineering standards for code quality, Git-based version control, CI/CD, and automated build, test, and deployment frameworks.
- Lead performance optimization across applications, databases, APIs, and data flows.
- Implement observability practices using logging, metrics, and tracing to support reliability and issue detection.
- Review and approve technical designs, code, and architecture artifacts.
- Troubleshoot complex production and system issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements.
- Communicate technical risks and solution strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers on design principles, coding standards, and modern development practices.
- Drive cloud adoption, DevOps maturity, continuous improvement, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, architecture, and system integration.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Computer Applications, or a master's degree in Computer Applications.
- Expertise in software architecture, system design, and technical leadership for enterprise applications.
- Strong programming and cloud experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node.js, AWS, CloudFormation, ECS, Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, and IAM.
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Confluence, JIRA, monitoring dashboards, and continuous process improvement.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring teams, establishing technical standards, and driving continuous process improvement.
- Desired certifications include AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect, and AWS Solution Consultant.
