Responsibilities
- Solve complex architecture and business problems and develop extensible solutions.
- Collaborate with business leaders, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to design business-friendly software solutions.
- Design client-side and server-side architecture for supply chain applications.
- Write modular, functional, high-quality, and testable code.
- Develop databases, applications, and servers supporting supply chain platforms.
- Create APIs, technical specifications, and documentation.
- Test, troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and improve application responsiveness and efficiency.
- Configure security and data protection settings for cloud-deployed applications.
- Complete the full software development life cycle and deploy applications in AWS Cloud.
- Mentor junior engineers on design, coding, and troubleshooting.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively in a global environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 6+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Preferred: 8+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
- Preferred: experience leading architecture and design for new and existing systems.
- Preferred: experience communicating with users, technical teams, and management about requirements, product features, and technical designs.
- Preferred: 4+ years of supply chain management experience within a procurement organization.
