Responsibilities
- Design, build, modify, and maintain durable automated testing frameworks.
- Integrate automated testing with Jenkins or Harness and provide execution support, triage, and refactoring.
- Develop reliable functional test automation and review automated test code for adherence to standards.
- Define and standardize QA processes, testing scope, priorities, and coverage for higher-risk areas.
- Document defects, execute test plans, support debugging, and perform manual testing when needed.
- Collaborate with global quality engineering, product, engineering, architecture, release management, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
- Mentor team members, provide quality engineering leadership, prioritize automated tests, and support CI onboarding.
- Research and implement new automation technologies, including AI-assisted testing techniques.
- Improve automation coverage, test stability, and quality metrics.
- Participate in project estimation and planning when required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of QA/SDET experience.
- Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, and Python.
- Experience with Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Postman, Insomnia, Node.js, Mocha, and Cucumber.
- Experience with Jenkins or Harness for CI/CD integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile, TDD, and BDD.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud services.
- Preferred familiarity with AngularJS and modern web frameworks.
- Preferred experience with GenAI, AI/ML, and advanced automation augmentation tools.
- Preferred experience with JIRA, Xray, qTest, and Allure Reports.
- Preferred experience testing enterprise business platforms such as Workday and SAP.
