Responsibilities
- Process massive bidstream and user-event datasets and build offline and online feature pipelines.
- Train, tune, and deploy gradient-boosting, factorization, and deep learning models for structured and recommendation data.
- Write scalable, modular, production-grade software and design real-time, low-latency inference APIs and services.
- Build MLOps pipelines for automated retraining, model versioning, shadow deployments, and production monitoring.
- Monitor data drift, concept drift, and model performance while implementing automated alerting and fallback mechanisms.
- Design A/B and multivariate experiments and connect offline model metrics to online business KPIs.
- Maintain reproducible workflows with clear data lineage, robust evaluation, and production-ready deployment paths.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Software Engineer focused on ML systems.
- Expert-level Python skills and strong proficiency in a compiled or high-performance language such as C++, Java, Scala, Go, or Rust.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithm design.
- Deep experience deploying ML models in highly concurrent, low-latency production environments, including APIs, microservices, Triton Inference Server, or custom containers.
- Hands-on experience with big-data processing using Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, and complex SQL queries.
- Production experience shipping both tree-based models and neural networks using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong understanding of statistics, hypothesis testing, and rigorous A/B experiment design.
- Preferred experience in ad tech, martech, high-scale recommendation systems, agentic workflows, or LLM-based automation.
