Responsibilities
- Design and enhance maintainable automated test frameworks using Java for web applications and services.
- Develop and execute Cypress, Playwright, and WebDriverIO test suites for functional, regression, and integration coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on user stories, acceptance criteria, BDD scenarios, test status, risk assessments, and quality metrics.
- Integrate automated test execution and quality gates into CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
- Create test data strategies and validate data consistency across SQL and NoSQL systems.
- Apply agentic AI approaches to adaptive test selection, anomaly detection, scenario generation, defect analysis, and reporting.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and production issues using logs, database records, and automation results.
- Conduct non-functional reliability and basic performance validations and document test strategies, cases, architecture, and outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement, quality standards, and domain-specific testing for network operations and management when applicable.
Requirements
- Seven to ten years of experience in quality engineering or test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies, including query development, dataset preparation, and transactional and non-relational validation.
- Practical understanding of agentic AI concepts and AI-assisted testing approaches.
- Solid Java programming skills for building reusable automation libraries and scalable test frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps fundamentals, including configuring jobs and managing artifacts.
- Effective use of BDD techniques with business-oriented scenarios aligned to automation.
- Proven expertise with Cypress, Playwright, and WebDriverIO, including end-to-end testing and asynchronous behavior handling.
- Experience with network operations and management is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with agile teams and coordinate hybrid collaboration.
