Base Salary
$120k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end consumer fintech product features spanning domain models, business logic, and API integrations.
- Use data pipelines, analytics infrastructure, SQL, and analysis tools to evaluate product and system performance.
- Test and debug complex state machines in an event-driven, pub/sub backend.
- Ship implementations to production daily through a rapid CI/CD process and respond to production incidents.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business leaders to deliver high-impact features.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience with Go deployed on GCP.
- Direct experience building products for consumers rather than exclusively for B2B customers.
- Proficiency designing and consuming APIs, including authentication, authorization, and rate-limiting patterns.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing, and code review.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues such as Kafka or Pub/Sub for scalable data pipelines.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and cross-functional communication skills.
- Startup experience is preferred, and fintech or financial services experience is a plus.
