Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and govern enterprise-grade cloud platforms and infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Define cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, governance frameworks, and adoption best practices.
  • Support the migration of business-critical applications to Azure using modern architectural principles.
  • Design and implement Azure Landing Zones, management group structures, and policy-based governance.
  • Collaborate with application teams, security specialists, and external partners to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
  • Drive cloud security initiatives using Zero Trust principles, Microsoft security frameworks, and secure-by-design architectures.
  • Contribute to hybrid platform architectures integrating Azure, SAP ERP, Kafka, and other business-critical technologies.
  • Advise stakeholders on cloud strategy, technology choices, and long-term architectural roadmaps.
  • Promote operational excellence, automation, and continuous improvement across the cloud landscape.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity management, cloud security, governance, management groups, policies, and landing zones.
  • Experience guiding enterprise-scale application migrations to Azure.
  • Experience implementing Azure Security Baselines and secure-by-design architectures.
  • Experience applying Zero Trust Architecture principles.
  • Practical knowledge of Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Conditional Access.
  • Understanding of cloud compliance frameworks including ISO 27001/27002, GDPR, and the EU AI Act.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
  • Knowledge of the Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF), especially Security and Operational Excellence.
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark (MCSB) and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and explain cloud concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A curious mindset and enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and innovative solutions.
