Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Python and Golang for enterprise data modeling and product use cases.
- Build and scale distributed systems using technologies such as Kafka, Flink, and AWS.
- Contribute production React and React Native code to deliver end-to-end features and performant UI components.
- Own product initiatives from early problem definition through implementation and help shape technical designs.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to engineering standards.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering teams to build reusable, technically strong components.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
- Proficiency building scalable backend services; experience with Python, Django, Golang, MongoDB, and AWS is highly preferred.
- Ability to write and ship production code in React and React Native, including understanding component lifecycles, state management, and mobile constraints.
- Ability to design scalable and reliable systems and reason about consistency, performance, and fault tolerance.
- A track record of independently driving projects, navigating ambiguity, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience building reusable systems, frameworks, or developer-facing components is a plus.
