Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and data models using Python and Golang.
- Contribute to distributed systems operating at scale and work with Kafka, Flink, and AWS.
- Write and ship production React and React Native code for end-to-end product features.
- Own product initiatives from problem definition through implementation and help shape App Studio technical designs.
- Build reusable, maintainable, well-tested systems and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, engineers, and technical and non-technical stakeholders to solve complex user problems.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
- Proficiency building scalable backend services; Python, Django, Golang, MongoDB, and AWS experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to write and ship production React and React Native code with knowledge of component lifecycles, state management, and mobile constraints.
- Ability to design scalable, reliable systems and reason about consistency, performance, and fault tolerance.
- Experience building reusable systems, frameworks, or developer-facing components is a plus.
- Track record of independently driving projects, navigating ambiguity, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
