Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and test backend services using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Implement and consume APIs for frontend interactions and service integrations.
- Write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and learn deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver features and fix bugs.
- Debug issues, write unit tests, and help maintain core code reliability.
- Explore AI tooling and modern software practices to improve development productivity and code quality.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of software development experience, or strong internship/academic project experience, in Java and Spring.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, core data structures, algorithms, and basic design patterns.
- Foundational understanding of relational or NoSQL databases, SQL, and APIs.
- Familiarity with Git, unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Enthusiasm for exploring AI capabilities and how AI tools intersect with software engineering.
- Strong problem-solving, curiosity, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or IDE assistants; exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP; knowledge of microservices, data processing systems, Node.js, or frontend basics.
