Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and operate Communication Platform services.
- Investigate design approaches, evaluate technical feasibility, and deliver high-quality experiences.
- Implement innovative features and improve existing systems.
- Create architectures focused on performance, availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct peer code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and provide countermeasures.
- Build and support campaign management, content management, segmentation, personalization, marketing automation, scheduling, message delivery, and measurement/analysis features.
- Mentor other engineers and demonstrate strong ownership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- More than 8 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Business-level English and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desired experience includes Unix/Linux, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, test automation with Karate, BDD, or Cucumber, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of the email industry, Mail Transfer Agent services, Angular, React, and mission-critical services is a plus.
