Base Salary
$265k - $370k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and high-quality frontend applications.
- Architect and implement GenAI-powered products and features with AI engineers, software engineers, and machine learning engineers.
- Develop integrations for AI providers, including API adaptations and official Plaid MCP Servers.
- Improve conversational Link experiences and architect trust infrastructure for agentic commerce.
- Scale AI-powered customer support and agentic systems, including multi-turn and multi-agent systems, evaluation, long-term memory, and human-in-the-loop reinforcement learning experiments.
- Extend agentic systems across product recommendation, onboarding, risk diligence, customer activation, assistance, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Conduct rapid experiments and evaluate technical feasibility, product potential, and business impact.
Requirements
- Experience building backend services and working with service-oriented architectures.
- Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered products with real user feedback.
- Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, vector databases, embedding models, agent orchestration, open-ended task evaluation and monitoring, streaming, and SSE.
- Strong debugging and production-system monitoring experience.
- Ability to understand customer needs through user research and rapid experimentation and independently drive technical product decisions.
- Ability to lead 0-to-1 projects by balancing exploration with feasibility and impact evaluation.
- Curiosity and passion for GenAI applications.
- Preferred: experience training or serving ML models in production or fine-tuning LLMs for domain-specific use cases.
- Preferred: experience operating in privacy- and PII-sensitive environments and applying compliance mitigations.
- Preferred: working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks or libraries.
