Responsibilities
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
- Lead application systems analysis and programming activities and define system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
- Resolve high-impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of business and system processes and industry standards.
- Apply advanced application programming and systems flow knowledge to ensure designs adhere to the overall architecture blueprint.
- Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Analyze complex issues, develop innovative solutions, and integrate architecture and infrastructure capabilities with business goals.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as necessary.
- Assess and manage business, compliance, operational, and reputational risks with appropriate escalation and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis.
- Extensive experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one area of application development.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Master’s degree preferred.
