Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver Android mobile components, services, and applications across different Android versions and screen sizes.
- Collaborate with strategy and UX/UI design teams to architect, design, and implement mobile solutions.
- Own delivery and provide technical leadership on target architectures and scalable applications.
- Mentor and educate junior and less experienced developers.
- Apply Android design principles, secure engineering practices, performance tuning, modularization, and offline storage.
- Contribute to engineering quality through code reviews, pair programming, TDD, continuous integration, and automated testing.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Android mobile development.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android UI principles, Android Architecture Components, Jetpack libraries, and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with MVVM/MVI architecture, modularized codebases, offline storage, threading, performance tuning, and UI testing.
- Working knowledge of Git, Android Studio, JUnit, Espresso, and GitHub.
- Ability to lead technically, take ownership of delivery, and guide junior engineers.
- Experience delivering high-quality applications at scale and collaborating effectively across engineering teams.
- Strong security patterns and best-practices knowledge is advantageous.
