Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy cloud application solutions integrating cloud and non-cloud infrastructure.
- Design client-side and server-side architecture and build scalable applications for distributed platforms and cloud environments.
- Develop and manage applications supporting microservices architecture.
- Write and maintain APIs, including REST and SOAP APIs.
- Test, troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and optimize software applications.
- Create security and data protection settings and produce technical and design documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required; the role also specifies 7–10 years of prior experience in a global banking, insurance, or financial organization.
- Strong experience with Java, Core Java, Spring Boot, Spark APIs, and distributed application platforms such as Hadoop.
- Working knowledge of Jakarta EE is required.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or comparable testing frameworks.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, along with 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master and working with Agile practices.
- Preferred experience with Hadoop administration, JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React, Node.js, UI/UX design, Python, and NoSQL databases such as HBase and MongoDB.
- Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
