Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
- Implement features and bug fixes based on requirements from senior engineers and tech leads.
- Participate in design, coding, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
- Use AI-powered development tools and AI-assisted debugging to improve coding efficiency and quality.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Contribute to code reviews and collaborate with team members.
- Maintain and update technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java, with Java 17+ preferred.
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Hibernate and JPA.
- Experience with relational databases, including MySQL, and basic exposure to MongoDB.
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Familiarity with Docker and AWS Cloud Services, including EC2, S3, and RDS.
- Familiarity with GenAI practices, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
