Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
- Implement and consume REST APIs.
- Deploy and operate applications in OpenShift environments.
- Collaborate with Angular frontend teams to integrate backend services.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration activities.
- Analyze incidents and propose improvements related to performance, scalability, and security.
Requirements
- Proven backend development experience with Java.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices-based architectures.
- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL.
- Experience with Docker containers and OpenShift platforms.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Proficiency with Git or similar version control tools.
- Understanding of Scrum or Kanban Agile methodologies.
- Preferred experience with Angular frontend development, GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices, AWS, Azure, and Spark technologies including Databricks and Cloudera.
