Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using .NET and Java or Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver features.
  • Upgrade legacy .NET Framework applications to modern .NET and deliver cloud-ready solutions.
  • Implement unit tests and automated testing platforms, following Test-Driven Development practices where applicable.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment and integration.
  • Use Git and related version-control tools and contribute to code reviews.
  • Create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
  • Work with Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or other cloud services.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with .NET Core and C#.
  • Proficiency with .NET 5 or older and experience modernizing .NET Framework applications.
  • Working knowledge of Java or Python.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, design and architectural patterns, concurrency patterns, and scalable application design principles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Entity Framework, the Common Language Runtime, and database schema design.
  • Experience with automated testing, unit testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, and Agile software development practices.
  • Proficiency with GitLab and GitHub or comparable code-versioning tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and code-quality skills.

Benefits

  • Contract role of up to 45 hours per week.
  • Start date is ASAP, with the contract lasting through the first week of February 2027.
