Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable web applications using modern technologies.
- Lead complex technical initiatives across multiple systems and teams.
- Define and evolve system architecture for scalability and reliability.
- Build and maintain APIs and backend services.
- Enhance existing systems for better performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to create technical solutions.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks related to performance and security.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Support production systems through debugging and performance improvements.
- Mentor engineers and elevate engineering standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience in building and shipping production web applications.
- Experience in designing and delivering large technical projects.
- Proficiency in building scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and component-based architecture.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of software design principles and testing practices.
- Experience working in collaborative Agile product teams.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with distributed teams.
- Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership.
- Preferred location: Brno, Czech Republic.
