Base Salary
$205k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build platform infrastructure powering document workflows across Uber.
- Architect, develop, and scale document ingestion, inspection, extraction, storage, and retrieval workflows.
- Design software for identity verification and validation of external regulations and internal standards.
- Develop systems to adjudicate earner documents and support safe access to Uber’s platform.
- Scale platforms and databases, launch new capabilities, and solve high-impact distributed-systems problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Experience with partitioned databases and large-scale distributed backend systems.
- Experience handling Personally Identifiable Information and building systems that follow privacy and personal-data handling standards.
- Experience building products with microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Programming experience with Golang, Java, or Python.
- Software design and development skills.
- Experience working in an agile engineering environment.
