Base Salary
$93k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve a bounded platform service or SDK component for multi-tenant use.
- Debug distributed services and develop compatibility-safe remediation plans.
- Design, implement, test, troubleshoot, and optimize software features and APIs.
- Implement API versioning, lifecycle, interoperability, resilience, scalability, monitoring, and observability strategies.
- Lead code reviews, document software designs and adoption guidance, and support downstream consumers.
- Investigate customer issues and product defects, provide technical guidance, and recommend enhancements.
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, automation, and reliability improvements.
- Coach and mentor colleagues while collaborating across teams and independently managing deliverables.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing software aligned with established system architecture.
- Working knowledge of software architecture decisions, software development practices, coding standards, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot APIs, integrations, distributed services, customer issues, and moderately complex software problems.
- Ability to implement secure coding, quality assurance, logging, monitoring, observability, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and timelines, collaborate across teams, and guide others.
