Base Salary
$125k - $211k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate machine learning and AI-powered solutions for identity security challenges.
- Own research, prototyping, and implementation across classical ML capabilities and agentic AI systems using foundation models, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
- Evaluate and apply foundation models, agents, fine-tuning, and model evaluation frameworks to create product capabilities.
- Translate research and prototypes into production-ready systems and improve model quality, accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement best practices in ML engineering, testing, observability, architecture, model lifecycle management, AI governance, and responsible AI.
- Partner with product managers, engineering, platform, and analytics teams to deliver integrated AI capabilities.
- Contribute to model monitoring, experiment tracking, retraining, deployment processes, and operational reliability.
- Communicate complex AI and ML concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and mentor peers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in machine learning, AI, or a related technical field.
- Deep machine learning expertise and experience building and deploying production ML systems.
- Experience building AI-powered applications using LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, or related technologies.
- Experience applying anomaly detection, semantic search, embeddings, similarity measurement, classification, or ranking to real-world problems.
- Strong Python programming skills and proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
- Understanding of data modeling, feature engineering, statistical analysis, experimentation, and model evaluation.
- Experience building and operating ML systems in production environments.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, modularization, code reviews, observability, and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices including model monitoring, experiment tracking, retraining, and CI/CD.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include cybersecurity, identity, enterprise SaaS, NLP, behavioral modeling, time series, graph ML, search, recommendation systems, AI agents, autonomous AI systems, cloud-native ML applications, and ownership of complex ML or AI delivery.
