Responsibilities
- Design and build investment management technology supporting investment lifecycle processes and investment research.
- Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support Vantage-One-based applications.
- Lead and mentor software developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to implement AI/ML-based solutions.
- Research advanced machine learning concepts and apply analytics to automate and improve business processes.
- Provide input on tools, technology selection, standards, and evolving best practices.
- Optimize the team’s software delivery workflow and maintain enterprise software engineering standards.
- Work collaboratively with business partners and technology teams in a multi-office, multi-country environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Experience with React.js and SQL databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and API Gateway.
- Experience with REST APIs, Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and requirements-understanding skills.
- Ability to interact with business system analysts and clarify business requirements.
