Base Salary
$168k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, secure, and resilient components of the Common Services Platform and related solutions.
- Partner with Product Management on requirements, effort estimation, sprint planning, and quarterly planning.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end functionality and align integrations and infrastructure.
- Develop proofs of concept and prototypes to validate technical approaches and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews, best-practice sharing, and career support.
- Influence system design and guide implementation for high-quality, timely delivery at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of related experience, or Master's degree plus 4 years, or PhD plus 1 year of experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise software in production environments.
- At least 5 years of experience developing, deploying, and managing large-scale cloud-native web applications and microservices using Golang, Terraform, and serverless technologies including AWS Lambda, AppSync, and ECS/EKS.
- At least 3 years of experience building event-driven systems with message or streaming platforms such as Kafka, SQS, or SNS.
- Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into software workflows.
- Preferred experience with graph algorithms and hierarchical or recursive data structures in production systems.
- Preferred experience with clean or layered service architectures and ORM frameworks such as GORM.
- Ability to translate difficult problems into solutions and communicate clearly across cross-functional and distributed teams.
