Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy development tools and scalable infrastructure supporting the engineering lifecycle.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Automate manual processes and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable releases.
- Review and test team members’ code and help ensure high-quality deployments.
- Maintain a security-first approach to infrastructure and protect systems against cybersecurity threats.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, implement long-term fixes, and manage software updates and patches.
- Support engineering best practices, architectural standards, and the configuration and integration of containerized microservices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a closely related Software Engineering role.
- Basic understanding of frontend or backend development and the ability to understand both code and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
- Basic infrastructure as code knowledge, with Terraform and Helm experience valued.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one cloud provider, preferably Azure.
- Understanding of database technologies, preferably NoSQL environments.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.
- Experience with or interest in Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Grafana, ELK, Kafka, NGINX, Apache, Tomcat, BigQuery, MongoDB, or Redis is valued.
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong technical analysis, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and solution-oriented thinking.
