Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of test systems from prototype through production deployment.
- Define and meet targets for test coverage, mean time to detect critical failures, and defect escape rates.
- Architect, implement, and maintain software for test sequences, data capture, and reporting.
- Integrate software with hardware under test and validate against datasheets.
- Lead investigations and root-cause analysis for failures in test or production.
- Define and enforce test standards and validation protocols across products.
- Work cross-functionally to deploy test systems at scale and coordinate vendor installations.
- Support on-call and production escalation for systems owned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building integration/test software that interfaces with hardware.
- Strong skills in Python and C/C++, along with Linux system administration.
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems and HIL/SIL/EOL test architectures.
- Demonstrated experience in factory or safety-critical environments.
- Proven record of measurable delivery with quantified impact on production metrics.
- Comfortable with high-impact deadlines and on-call rotations.
- Ability to drive cross-functional technical decisions and write clear acceptance criteria.
