Responsibilities
- Own product areas end-to-end, from identifying opportunities to driving measurable outcomes.
- Design complete systems including data models, API designs, and frontend/backend architectures.
- Make high-stakes technical decisions and be accountable for the outcomes.
- Collaborate with ML researchers to create reliable, product-consumable systems.
- Ship and iterate on products, measuring and course-correcting for sustained impact.
- Raise the technical and product quality bar on the team and unblock teammates.
- Navigate cross-functional collaboration with product, design, research, and leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on product development.
- Deep experience in building web applications and designing complete systems end-to-end.
- A track record of repeated, attributable impact across multiple projects.
- Personal technical depth with the ability to address real performance issues.
- Product judgment and autonomous ownership of opportunities from validation to shipping.
- Clear and persuasive communication skills to build buy-in across teams.
- Genuine conviction about AI evaluation and Arena's mission.
