Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend APIs, RPC interfaces, and microservices for checkout and financial products.
- Own components of checkout systems and improve their long-term health, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical leaders across the organization to build the next generation of the Checkout Platform.
- Drive technical decisions, solve large open-ended problems, and contribute to engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
- Develop, test, and ship high-quality software at scale while supporting peer growth and team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience developing, testing, and shipping high-quality software at scale.
- Ability to make technical decisions, take ownership of components, and collaborate effectively with product and engineering leaders.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
