Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize large-scale data-driven platforms, frameworks, APIs, services, and tools for Siri AI quality engineering.
- Design, drive, and triage automation and evaluation results supporting qualification of Siri AI features.
- Measure qualitative conversational experiences beyond pass/fail metrics, including response naturalness and real-world customer usefulness.
- Investigate and debug complex technical and user-experience issues and analyze error, deviation, and data-quality patterns.
- Collaborate with Product, Platform engineering, program management, machine learning, and data science teams to inform product decisions, model improvements, and feature launches.
- Drive test-triage products, methodologies, and processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale data-driven platforms and frameworks, APIs, services, and tools.
- Thorough understanding of system architecture and large-scale system design.
- Strong programming skills in Swift, Python, and Shell scripting.
- Experience building dashboards and analytics solutions with tools such as Tableau, Grafana, Superset, or Splunk.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, machine learning, and data science teams.
- Ability to independently and collaboratively triage, investigate, and debug difficult technical and UX problems.
- Proficiency with software revision control such as Git and CI/CD systems such as Jenkins.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with privacy-focused large-scale data validation platforms, Claude tooling solutions, statistics-based evaluation, ML training pipelines, and techniques for improving ML-system accuracy.
- Strong organization, planning, communication, attention to detail, and comprehensive data-analysis skills.
