Responsibilities
- Build new features in Golang for the grocery-partner integration platform.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and advance the platform.
- Build and run production backend services end to end, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Support product and delivery teams.
- Share knowledge with teammates and learn from senior engineers.
Requirements
- Some years of backend engineering experience, including at least one year of production Go experience or at least two years in another modern backend language with evidence of quickly learning Go.
- Strong Go fundamentals, including concurrency, error handling, and interfaces.
- Experience with microservice and event-driven design.
- Experience building and operating at least one production service end to end, including monitoring and fixing issues.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development and pair programming.
- Experience with Kubernetes or another container platform is preferred.
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools while exercising sound engineering judgment and explaining shipped code.
