Responsibilities
- Configure and implement OpenText VIM components, including document types, PO blocking, non-PO invoice approval, roles, process types, exception handling, and logic modules.
- Support VIM component and support-package-level upgrades.
- Configure and optimize OpenText Information Extraction Service for metadata extraction, line-item matching, and validation.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate custom enhancements, testing, and deployment with technical teams.
- Troubleshoot runtime workflow errors, stuck work items, and invoice-processing issues.
- Analyze and resolve VIM incidents and service requests in an AMS environment while meeting SLAs.
- Support EDI, e-invoicing, and email integrations with enterprise systems.
- Interact with business stakeholders to provide user support and resolve issues.
- Create functional specifications, test scenarios, and training documentation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of SAP Vendor Invoice Management experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in an AMS or support project environment.
- Experience completing 2 to 3 end-to-end SAP VIM implementation projects in a client-facing role.
- Expertise in SAP VIM configuration, including VIM Analytics, exception handling, and document types.
- Experience with OpenText Information Extraction Service and Archive Server.
- Strong understanding of SAP MM-LIV and FI-AP.
- Experience integrating SAP VIM with other enterprise systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex invoice-processing workflows and customize SAP modules.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, with 15 years of full-time education.
- SAP MM, FI, and S/4HANA experience are preferred.
